FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why should I buy custom home organizers from Tru Closet Pros?

Our Promise

You should choose Tru Closet Pros (TCP) for the qualities that have made us the first choice for the most discerning builders, architects and interiors designers in the residential market. For starters, it’s TCP’S industry-leading expertise, superior product quality, impeccable customer service, and our unrivaled capacity for custom design and fabrication on virtually any scale. TCP has never set out to be the biggest. But we won’t be anything but the best.

TCP’s systems can be seamlessly incorporated into any space in your home.

Where can I see a Tru Closet Pros system before I buy?

Location

To see TCP systems before you buy, schedule a free design consultation. While our designers naturally cannot carry a complete system with them, they do bring a kit that includes our materials such as melamine and hardware.

You can also visit one of our private showroom in Sarasota or Bradenton, FL (By appointment only) to see a life-size mud room, pantry, walk-in closet, Murphy bed and home office complete with TCP custom storage systems.

What material does TCP use for its shelves and cabinetry?

Our Products

For our custom shelving and cabinetry, we use ¾-inch thermo-fused laminate. This thick finish provides strength and durability, so shelves don’t sag and last longer.

We use thick 2-millimeter beveled edge banding that is fused – not glued – to the shelving for greater strength and durability. Unlike our competitors, we use polypropylene for its environmentally conscious advantages over PVC.

Our fully-framed drawer boxes are made from 5/8-inch thick birch and feature dovetail construction. The drawer box is finished with rounded, bullnose construction. The front and back are offset from the sides for a flush, tight fit.

Why does Tru Closet Pros use floor-standing systems?

Our Products

Organization systems are heavy to begin with, and once they are loaded with items they become even heavier. When a heavy system is hung on the wall instead of mounted on the floor, it becomes much less stable and can collapse under the weight. We engineer our systems to stand on the floor for stability and durability.

What do you make beside custom closets?

TCP provides solutions for your entire home storage cabinetry needs. We specialize in custom designed solutions for

How long does the process take?

Our Process

The length of the process varies depending on the complexity of your design and the unique products that you choose. Typically, a design consultation takes 90 minutes. The design for your space is then finalized, and the system is then custom manufactured. About 7-10 days after your initial consultation, your new TCP system will be installed. Pretty Fast timeline…
